Easy at the end??? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Rev Slippery: I stopped by to check on it and since it doesn't see much action I decided it was time for a change of scenery for the ammo can. It will be up in a new home soon.

Geocache Description:

The cache is am ammo can I won at the event for Mark and Irene's 4000th at Cheers this summer, with log book and some traders.

I was driving down a dusty trail along side the Trans Canada one day following a "Zonker" trail and enjoying a sunny, warm, late summer day of caching. I was hoping that the trail would eventually lead me out somewhere so I wouldn't have to back track all the way out but I found myself at the end of the road (at least for my vehicle) with no choice but to turn around. Zonker must have run out of caches that day because there was nothing here. I have had this ammo can in my trunk for 2 months waiting to find a spot far enough away to make it worth an ammo can but not far enough to go back once and a while to check on it. This cache will give the locals a reason to return to the trail or for some who haven't been down here yet another find along this route. My intention was to extend your trip to the end of the road which isn't that far and to keep it simple, so it is an easy find. Access for this cache is on a dirt road along the south side of the Trans-Canada highway from Lower Mountain Rd. There is no exit from the Trans-Canada here so plan your route from Salisbury Rd or Homestead Rd, either way has some caches leading up to it to find along the way. The road could be tricky for small cars (like me) when it is wet with a few deep puddles, Jeep owners will laugh at us while they zoom by.
