Versteckt hinter
Büschen und dem Wartehäuschen befindet sich seit über 30 Jahren bei
der Bushaltestelle der Linie 36 am
Morgartenring der Verkehrsgarten. Er
wird von der Kantonspolizei Basel-Stadt für die Verkehrsausbildung
von Kindern genutzt; ist aber auch öffentlich zugänglich. Die
Kinder können in diesem wirklichkeitsnahen mit Ampelanlage, Kreisel
usw. ausgestatteten Areal gefahrlos das richtige Verhalten mit dem
Fahrrad und als Fussgänger im Strassenverkehr üben.
Leider wurde das
Gelände Anfang 2007 aufgrund verschiedener Vorkommnisse eingezäunt
und mit einer automatischen Schliessanlage versehen, so dass der
Zutritt nicht mehr rund um die Uhr möglich ist.
Zum Suchen des
Caches empfehle ich allen, während den Öffnungszeiten zu gehen und
die Kinder mit ihren Fahrrädern mitzunehmen. Es ist jedoch, mit ein
wenig mehr Aufwand, bei Tageslicht auch möglich, die Fragen von
aussen zu beantworten. Die Referenzpunkte sind Orientierungshilfen,
um die die korrekten Antworten ermitteln zu können. Der Cache
befindet sich in der Nähe des Verkehrsgartens.
Depuis plus de 30
ans, caché par des arbustes et par
l'arrêt de bus de la ligne 36, le jardin servant à l'initiation à
la circulation routière est situé au
Morgartenring. Il est utilisé par la
police cantonale bâloise pour la formation des enfants, mais est
aussi accessible au public. Le site est équipé d'installations
complètes (feux de signalisation, rond-point etc.) permettant aux
enfants d'exercer en toute sécurité le comportement correct à
adopter à bicyclette ou en tant que piétons.
Début 2007, à cause de différents
incidents, le terrain a été clôturé et équipé d'une installation de
fermeture automatique de sorte que l'accès n'est plus possible 24
heures sur 24.
Pour chercher la cache, je vous
recommande de le faire pendant les heures d'ouverture du site et
d'emmener les enfants avec leurs bicyclettes. Toutefois, de
l'extérieur et à la lumière du jour il est aussi possible de
répondre aux questions. Les points de référence sont une aide
d'orientation afin de trouver les réponses justes. La cache se
trouve à proximité du jardin de la circulation.
Hidden behind shrubs
and the waiting-room, the traffic garden is situated at the bus
stop of the line 36 at Morgartenring
for over 30 years. It is used by the police of the canton
Basel-Stadt for the traffic training of
children; but is also accessible to the public. The children can
safely practice the correct behaviour by bicycle and as pedestrians
in this realistic equipped area with traffic light device,
roundabout etc.
Unfortunately, due to
different occurrences the area was enclosed and provided with an
automatic closing plant at the beginning of 2007, so the entrance
is no longer possible around the clock.
For
searching the cache I recommend all to go during the opening times
and to take along the children with their bicycles. However, it is
also possible to answer the questions from the outside by daylight.
The reference points serve to determine the correct answers. The
Cache is situated near the traffic garden.
