Geocache Description:

Part of The Wennington Way series, easy walking distance

The 5 Arch Bridge goes over the river Wenning and one of the arches was for the Wennington to Lancaster line which was closed in the Beeching Axe it used to got to the Greenayre station in Lancaster which is know Sainsbury's

Go towards Lancaster from Wenningon, go past the Bridge Inn at Tatham. You will see Monks Gate on your right where you could go over the 5 Arch Bridge, but dont untill you have found the cache.
Park Lane opposite, it is best to walk the short distance up the hill as you will struggle to turn round.

Be carefull where you park so that you are not obstructing farm trafic. there is a little layby on your left next to a gate just before Monks Gate with enough room to park and not obstruct the gate way
