Geocache Description:

The first cache to be placed on Ault Island. The Island is located between Morrisburg and Ingleside, Ontario. This is a favourite spot of ours which we frequent regularly as the parents of one half of TNGD lives on this island. Enjoy!

The cache is located at the end of a picturesque walk along the St Lawrence River. This is a trail frequented and favoured by the Islanders and their pets. You'll know you're near when you have a fantastic 180 degree view of the US on your left and Upper Canada Village on your right.

The island itself is accessible by car, bike, and boat. In the winter, it is snow mobile accessible as well.

Parking is available at N 44 56.675 W 075 03.358

NO PARKING SIGN: No parking sign in the area is directed more at long term parking (ie. overnight or spending the day fishing on the shores). Nonetheless do keep in mind that parking there is at your own discretion (though we've never had any problems parking there nor have we heard of anyone having any problems parking there). If you wish you can always park at the nearby "Nana's Cache" where there are no posted No Parking signs.

The cache contains a log book and pencils, an Australian Hacky Sac, 3 Australian wrist bands, a polished gemstone, a mini thimble, a mini bungee cord, A Sydney Olympic pin, an RCMP Jr Badge and a marble.

Please make sure the cache is returned securely to its location.

Although not required to claim as a find, please post a picture of your favourite view from near the cache location.
