The cache is on Table Mountain, close to Woodhead dam.
There are a variety of approaches. I took the cable car to the
top and headed South. It will take about two hours from the Upper
Cableway Station to reach the cache. The return trip costs R60. See
below for alternative free approaches.
At the cache location you will find a cave-like rocky overhang.
The cache is hidden in this cave in an opening at the back, covered
with smaller rocks.
Alternative approaches are from:
- Tafelberg Road, Platteklip Gorge
- Kloof Nek, Pipe Track
- Camp's Bay, Kasteelspoort
If you go early in the day (before 10 AM) beware of the shaded
areas as the rocks and logs are slippery.
Cache contains a disposable camera. Please take a picture of
yourself and leave the camera for the next cacher. Please email me
when the camera is full.
