Moses In the Bulrushes Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Round Dancer: The cache hiding place, a former Parking Meter pipe had been completely removed from the scene. It was the only one with a hole at the bottom to drain water after making the find. Sure don't want to archive, but no choice.

Geocache Description:

This Bible cache is an urban micro. You must sign log. There is a hint in the story to help you.

Moses was the great leader and lawgiver of the Israelites. He led them out of a life of slavery in Egypt to the Promised Land. He received the 10 Commandments from God on Mount Sinai as a gift to all mankind. Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy tell of his life, trials, problems, and achievements, such as calling on God to part the waters of the Red Sea. Moses wrote these books and also Genesis. After they were safely across the waters closed and Pharaoh's army was drowned. Hint: As a baby, his life was in great danger. God took care of Moses as soldiers searched the land of Egypt. In a basket baby Moses floated on the waters of the Nile River out of danger and into the safety of the Pharaoh’s family! If you still don't know what to bring keep this in mind: you will need at least 2 liters of it! Shown are some nearby points of interest, such as the Galloway House, down a block on the corner, across from Galloway Church. Once home of Bishop Galloway.
