Geocache Description:

Near an old cemetery, rolling terrain, spot to park.

This is the first of three histoic Lodi Township cemetery caches I will be setting up that are all within 1/2 mile of each other. This cache is NOT inside the cemetery proper but just ouside the fence. The cache is a standard green ammo box with log and trinkets. Watch for muggles when retrieving and replacing cache. Please rehide well and watch for the poison ivy. There is a gravel spot to park right at the cemetery gate.

This cemetery dates back to the early 1800s with birthdates on stones into the 1700s. As always, please respect the cemetery and markers. There is also a beautiful old Cedar tree that towers at the edge of this small cemetery to take note of. Cachers can make this a 2 for 1 by discovering the benchmark that is in plain view within the cemetery at N 39° 14.333 W 082° 03.750.

NOTE: For the FTF I have placed a ancient Roman bronze coin dating to approx. 350A.D. in the cache!
