Geocache Description:

A regular size lock n lock container with logbook, pencil, and trade items. This cache is located in the Loch Raven Watershed near Seminary and Dulaney Valley Roads. Pull off parking is available from Dulaney Valley Rd. Do not block fire road. PLEASE NOTE: Watershed is open for public use between dawn and dusk only.

This cache is named in honor of Neptune, the Roman god of the sea. It was inspired by the nearby nautical themed hides of monkeyfist. One of the principal arts of sailors is knot-tying. This cache is attached to several knots - bowline, a double sheet bend, and finally the blood knot. VSDad loves tying knots. Unfortunately, he couldn't use a monkeyfist in this one - have to save that for another cache! The luck is because the cache was placed on a very lucky day - 07/07/07. We wish you good luck in hunting!
