Geocache Description:

Cache is located along the Two Rivers Nature trail. Since nobody seems to be able to find my containers that blend into the surroundings I have replaced it with a hanging container about 4 inches long.

This trail was built by the Boy Scouts over an extended period of time. It started with a bridge over a little slew which was called "The Bridge To Nowhere" since when it was built, basically that's all there was, a single bridge in the middle of a swampy area. The Parks Department along with volunteers then built the trail utilizing wood chips to elevate the trail surface enough to establish a decent area for walking. It then became the "Trail To Nowhere" because all it was ,was an elevated loop that still didn't really go anywhere and was situated a pretty far distance away from the main trail. Over the last several years as various Boy Scouts took on Eagle Projects each one adding a little more to the area, this has become an excellent place to enjoy nature in Two Rivers Park, especially from the observation platform at the far end of the trail.

There are interpretive signs strategically placed along the trail showing pictures of plants and animals you might run into as you walk the loop. There is an observation platform along the way allowing you to look out across the water and there are benches along the way giving you the chance to just sit and enjoy the area.

You will need to bring your own writing instrument .
