The String of Pearls caches have been placed to celebrate the string of gorgeous beaches along the N.W. Saanich Peninsula shore. North Saanich has done sterling work putting in public beach accesses to these gems, and the least we can do is visit them:) There are nine caches in this series, and this is the first. Check for the "A is #??". You'll need this number to fill in a missing co-ordinate in the final cache in the series, String of Pearls - The Clasp.
On this beach we found lots of cockle shells with neat holes drilled near the hinge by the moon snails. And, like all the Peninsula beaches, breath-taking views.
