Nestled amongst the mountains in tropical rainforest settings, surrounded by Mt. Westray to the North, Mt. Widgee to the East, Buchanans Fort to the West and a range to the South (which I'm really not quite sure of the name) this cache really is the proverbial pig in the middle.
The road ends a few hundred metres away, the track is a rough trail that crosses a creek into natural rainforest. We placed the cache not very far into the trail, if you choose to go further be prepared.
From this location you can continue along one of the trails to visit Westray's grave (visit link) and continue along to the site of the the Stinson wreck (visit link)
The container is a 1L cliplock container. When replacing please make sure the lid is on correctly and sealed as this area is prone to floods, also careful not to crush the cache when replacing it in it's hide :-)
