Thanks to all who attended and helped out. We can't maintain all the trails without the help of volunteers.
We will archive this at the end of June 2007 to give everyone a chance to log in. If you took a travel bug and didn't record it, please log that in too. We do not have the two items that are still on the TB/coin list.
Sunday 3 June 2007--CITO Day and Trail Maintenance at Tackapausha Preserve, Seaford, NY.
Dress for the weather and wear shoes or boots that may get wet or muddy. Work gloves, long pants and long sleeved shirts are a necessity due to thorns and bug spray is always a good idea. Bring a stick or small rake (potato rake is great) for reaching into the hard-to-get spots. If you have a pruner or lopping shear, bring that too, we will be doing some trail maintenance along with the cleanup.
Bring your lawn chair or table and lunch or a portable bar-be-que. We will have a picnic and get-together on the lawn.
OK. We had some suggestions that we could organize the picnic part a little better. So, let us know what you are bringing. An extra barbeque would be nice too.
