Selskar Abbey Traditional Cache
Bootle: This hasn't been accessible for a year or so, so I'll archive it. I may look for an alternative hiding place in the future.

An ancient abbey site in the heart of Wexford town.
This abbey dates from early in the 12th century, and it has often been the scene of synods and parliaments. The first Anglo-Irish treaty was signed here in 1169, and it's said that Henry II spent the Lent of 1172 at the abbey doing penance for having Thomas à Becket beheaded. Although the abbey is mostly in ruins having been destroyed by Cromwell's troops, its choir is part of a Church of Ireland edifice, and a portion of the original battlement tower is a vesting room. The adjoining graveyard has unfortunately suffered a certain amount of vandalism over the years.
For some reason the two most obvious entrances to the abbey seem to be permanently locked, so you will have to go through the complex to the right to gain entrance to the site.
The cache is in a tupperware box. Please ensure that it remains hidden, as there is potential for it to be accidently found.
