Geocache Description:

Near the Overlook

Nice easy drive-up cache. This cache is next to the Dismal River, near a picnic table in a very scenic area of the Sandhills in Thomas County, NE. The river meanders by; the wind rustles the grass and causes the nearby cedar branches to sway. Traffic next to this spot is minimal,although there may be a few local residents who drive by on the way to their homes. There may be muggles looking down from on high, so please use stealth anyway. There is a scenic overlook nearby, as well as some other caches. There are no restroom facilities, so please leave the traveler's toilet paper in the cache for future geocachers who may need to use it. You may find a few things at this cache that you would not want to have "bug" you at a picnic. You are looking for a round camouflaged plastic container. This is a nice place to take a break from your travels! Wildlife is abundant, and the sunrises and sunsets are awesome,so bring a camera! As always, CITO is appreciated.
