A small plastic container wrapped in black plastic.Small swaps
and log book. This cache is a continuation of Alpha Coolum. The
scenic route which will take you up and down the other side of Mt
Coolum is a great walk and sure to build those calves! The above
co-ordinates will take you to an old tree know to locals as "FJ".
The "FJ" holden was released in 1953 and timelined to when this
tree was a perhaps a young sapling (its a basic age comparison...I
think ?). It has lasted 2 bushfires that we know of and still
stands as testimony to being relentless. The trees years are
numbered and you'll know why...so spare a thought for old "FJ"s
past! Now onto the trek.The co-ordinates S26 33 605 E153 04 872
will take you to a NW track.Follow this to "FJ". Once at "FJ",
stand with your back at the west facing doorway and angle yourself
towards the NW.Take a large 1.2m step and you will be on the
GZ.Good luck!
