I've always enjoyed
visual illusions and word-play so Ambigrams are just the perfect
combination.
What is an
Ambigram? It's a word that reads the same both right side up and
upside down. If you've read Dan Brown's novel 'Angels and Demons'
then you've seen some examples. For that book the artist John
Langdon created a number of Ambigrams including the perfect example
used on the cover.

They fascinate me
so I thought I'd try and create some of my own and what better word
to choose than my caching name 'Lignumaqua".

I'm nowhere near as
good an artist as John Langdon but hopefully you can see that it
reads exactly the same if you invert it. I've had a limited run of
just 25 special FTF prizes made using this logo - they are etched
onto a rectangle of dichroic coated glass and, just to get things
started, there were five of them as FTF prizes in this
cache.
The cache puzzle,
of course, has to have an ambigram theme. Some numbers are natural
ambigrams - an 8 is an 8 whichever way up you look at it for
example, and others make ambigrammatic pairs - 6 and 9 say. I
managed to find a number of places in Austin whose latitude and
longitude could each be made into separate ambigrams, however only
one position was in a suitable location for a cache.
The latitude
is:

and the longitude
is:

The rest is up to
you

Cache is about 0.5
mile from the Mopac greenbelt entrance. I suggest staying on the
trail until reaching the point given below. About 300ft of
bushwhacking needed then!
Special Bonus
Smiley! Design and post an ambigram of your own name (can be
your geocaching name or your real name, whichever you prefer) and
claim a bonus smiley. Has to be legible! Judge's decision
final.
Cache is an ammo
can so plenty of room for swag!
Congratulations to
the FTFs
