I know, I know, I don’t like micros than much either, but in most
of theses cases I really didn’t have a choice.
I put this series together for “urban hiking”. There’s parking at
either end, but nothing really available in between. This series is
a good walk for exercise or just a run for the numbers. It also
could be used for a family on bicycles to enjoy, the spacing is
such that it will keep the interest of little kids. This series of
caches goes from one station to another along the orange line bus
route. Along the route is a really nice bike and walking path. The
distance for this series is less than 2 miles one way. Please be
very stealthy when retrieving the containers. There’s not much
cover along here and there seems to always be someone passing by.
The series can be started by parking at either the Canoga Park
station and going east or the Winnetka station and first going east
and then going west. No off-road vehicles please! BYOP
The caches to hunt for are: GC10EEC (don't forget this one);
GC112XX ; GC112XT ; GC112XM ; GCGRQ0 (this one will require you to
cross the street); GC112XF ; GC112XC ; GC112XB ; GC1413M ; GC112X3
; GCTVWO (this one is well worth it)
