Geocache Description:

An easy micro cache and dash, and once on the bridge suitable for wheelchair users.

Brockweir Bridge was built in 1906 funded to a greater extent by the Wye Valley Railway, which promptly ended up fighting a court case against a local ferry owner, who was terrified that it would put him out of business which it eventually did of course.
The nearest parking is on the roadside up the hill in Brockweir village. Combine with finding “La Belle Marie – GCWK9F” also but why not park at Tintern Station and combine this one with “Station Surprise” - GC10XND for a lovely riverside stroll with refreshments during the summer months and train rides on Bank Holidays.
The number 69 bus that runs between Chepstow and Monmouth stops at the end of the bridge.
