A pleasant hike over a gravel and mud road. Relatively flat until a
sustained, but manageable pitch for the last quarter mile. Total
round-trip distance is a little less than 2 miles. Nice views from
the cache site.
This cache is placed on a piece of land located in the town of
Sangerville. The hike is down a dirt road that is well graded in
some places, and quite muddy in others depending on the season. The
cache is placed at the top of a small rise, where on a clear day
there is a view of Mount Kathadin to the North.
The cache can be found staying entirely on the established road.
The land is private, so please practice Cache In/Trash Out. Feel
free to explore, but of course treat the land with respect.
Parking is at the junction of Flanders Hill road and the Old Gray
road at coordinates N 45* 09.011" W 069* 18.870". Please do not
attempt to drive up the road any further as erosion is a problem
and is worsened by vehicle traffic.
Good luck and great caching!!
