Ein alter Bundsandsteinbruch
An Early Triassic-quarry
Dieser Aufschluß repräsentiert ein großes Gebiet der Calförde-Folge des Unteren Buntsandsteins, das etwa begrenzt wird von: Barchfeld - Tiefenort - Kieselbach - Dippach - Berka/Werra - Marksuhl. Fein- bis mittelkörnige Sandsteine wechseln mit dünnplattigen tonig-siltischen Lagen.
Die Ablagerungen werden als "limnisch-fluviatil" bezeichnet, womit der Antransport durch Flüsse und die kurzzeitige Überflutung durch flaches Wasser gemeint sind.
Überwiegend rote Gesteinsfarben weisen auf trockenheißes Klima und Eisenverbindungen hin.

Beantworte mir bitte folgende Frage:
Der Sandsteinbruch besteht nicht nur aus rotem Sandstein. Ich habe auf dem Bild eine Stelle mit einem weißen Rechteck markiert. An dieser Stelle kann man noch eine weitere Farbe sehen. Beschreibe bzw. nenne mir die Farbe! Warum ist der Sandstein an dieser Stelle NICHT rot?

This quarry represents a big territory of the "Calförde-Folge" of the Early Triassic, which is limited by the following places: Barchfeld - Tiefenort - Kieselbach - Dippach - Berka/Werra - Marksuhl.
Small-grained and medium-grained sandstone changes with loamy and silty layers.
The sedimentation is marked as "limnic-fluviatile". This means, the sedimentation was transported by the river and overflows.
Most sandstone has a red colour resulting from hot and dry climate and iron compounds.
