Located about mid way through the Cameron Highlands Trail in Hopkinton.
The Cameron Highlands trail connects Pond St. to Wood St. in Hopkinton. This cache can be approached from either end. From Pond St, the trail entry is at N42 13.221, W071 33.783, which is between 20 and 28 Pond St. From Wood St, entry is at N42 14.096, W071 33.389, which is about 20 paces east of 197 Wood St. The trail is clearly marked with red plastic disks and red paint blazes.
From either end, it is about 0.5 miles to the cache, or about 1.0 mile round trip.
It is not recommended for young kids (under 7) because of the walk.
The Cameron Highlands Trail is maintained by the Hopkinton Area Land Trust and is entirely on public land or private land where permission has been granted for public access.
