This is what I would like to call a climb & grab. The climb itself is the challenge and the adventure, so the hide is simple and straightforward. Reward yourself with a smiley on the geocaching map next to the big smile on your own face from conquering this mountain and enjoying the great views!
Note: Please study the information on the DOC website on the 'Avalanche Peak Route' first! This is not an easy climb and should not be attemped in bad weather! The last 100 meters to the summit are extra challenging, since it's a narrow ridge with sharp rocks, so take care and don't do it if you don't feel safe.
