Yealering is a pretty little wheatbelt town situated approximatley 220km south east of Perth. Established in 1907 it is located beside a lake with the same name.
Early Settlers planted gums and pine trees in the town and near the lake, with the lake being a popular place for picnics and sporting events.
During World War 2 Yealering housed a prisoner of war camp run by Lt W Baker.
The town today, although small, boasts a Caravan Park, Hotel, General Store/Post Office as well as the Yealering Pantry, a local waste conscious store. It has a working CBH grain bin and the lake is popular for water skiing when full.
In October the Lake Yealering Regatta is held where handmade 'boats' are raced on the lake. Locals and visitors get creative when it comes to the boats themselves, with tractor tyres, old bike pedals and forty four gallon drums making up some of the home made vessels.
The cache itself is part of a short series following the edge of the lake tacking on to the existing Yealering cache. The caches are relatively easy. Enjoy the view, the exercise and make sure you check out the quirky 18th tee.
Thanks to Burns345 who has agreed to maintain, after he has found them of course.
