Geocache Description:

Note for tourists: There is a free tram service to and from the Adelaide city area to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre which is just next to GZ.
The cache is at the listed coordinates. It is a simple field puzzle.

Geocaching is free. Of course we all know that.

However to get the most out of the game people will usually need to spend a little money here and there.

One of the expenditure lines is for Tools of The Trade aka TOTTs.

There are many of these ranging from things which help you to solve puzzles, or perhaps to project coordinates, or to locate a GZ, or to access a cache once at GZ. Some caches cannot be accessed without a specific TOTT. And sometimes this requirement is reflected in either or both of the D and T ratings.

This series contains caches which you will probably find easier with one or more TOTTs.  Whether it is working out the final location or accessing the cache once there, there will be something where a TOTT will help. But part of the fun is that we won't necessarily tell you in advance which TOTTs you might need. Of course this may not be a problem for the experienced geocacher. But for newer ones some of these might open new windows of opportunities.

This is #7 in the series. It is an Unknown Type - a field puzzle located at the posted coordinates.

This container started its life as GC3P3C5 BYOB #7 when it was placed on a bandstand in Denmark in WA by roymerc on 23 June 2012. After 505 finds with 83 FPs the bandstand was demolished and the cache removed and archived on 10 August 2019.

Denmark in WA is famous for its gadget caches by roymerc. Brad&Janet visited in early 2020 and found a number of these wonderful caches and subsequently met up with roymerc and his wife. After discussions it was agreed that a new home would be sought in SA for this gadget cache. And this location seemed appropriate.

The cache is easy to find. The field puzzle involves how to get it open. Force is not needed but a TOTT is.

While part of the fun of the TOTT series is to work out which TOTT you need, in this case we hope it is not too difficult. Here is a clue.

The white container with an obvious red 7 on it is attached to a wall of an appropriate building in a public walkway. It has been placed low enough for children or someone in a wheelchair to reach it.

The owners of the building have given permission for it to be attached to their building and helped place it. So obviously they know it is there.

When you are facing the cache at GZ there will be a window to your right. On the other side of the window is a security guard at a desk. The security guard is there 24/7. You can relax a little as the security guards know about the cache. Smile and wave. Stealth is not an option.

Please do not place large soft trackables in the cache as they have been known to jam the mechanism.
