A common break in a road to prevent livestock from passing, luckily geocachers can pass over these. This cattle stop is also the entry to the first of two camping grounds within this park.
Cache has a 'hook/loop' to help with retrieval - PLEASE ENSURE you return the cache with the hook/loop facing outwards so the next person is able to reach it. DO NOT push to far in when returning. Return cache so it is attached to the BOTTOM - NOT THE TOP. Awhitu Park Link This is series of caches is designed to take you on a tour of this regional park.
