This cache is was inspired by the Upper Beaconsfield war memorial which "Was erected to the memory of the men of Beaconsfield Upper who fell in the great war 1914 to 1919", although not located on the actual site, it is in a location where you can easily view the memorial and is only a 40 metre walk over the road.
The actual cache is located in Charing Cross another fetaure of Beaconsfield Upper, details we can find on the naming of this small park is that it was named tongue in cheek by George Britton Halford as “Charing Cross.” Halford was born in England in 1824, close to Charing Cross.
This can at times be a muggle area as there are public toilets close by, the park is used by residents and people passing by for a quick lunch or picnic. The local bus library also stops by once a week.
The cache itself is a uniquely hidden door stopper, please ensure it is hidden exactly as you find it and the stopper itself is covered with leaves. Watch out for the odd ant or two in the area.
The cache only includes a log, so bring your own writing stick.
