A short series leading to Eynesbury Township. The first half (1-10)would be completed by car and the last (11-17) 3km on foot.
Eynesbury was once part of a pastoral run owned by Simon Staughton known as Exford. It comprised over 70,000 acres. Samuel Thomas Staughton acquired ¼ of the property which became known as Eynesbury.
Eynesbury was named after a town in the United Kingdom (north of London) where Simon Staughton was born (1797).
The Eynesbury station currently has 60 buildings and structures dating from 1870 to the 1940’s.
