Geocache Description:

Ross Park is our third ever cache and the third cache in the series Winthrop Wonders. The series is not only completed by me but also my younger geobrother Gunzo The Cow.

THE AREA

The cache is located at Ross Park next to Leach Hwy. The park has space to run around in and sheltered by many trees. There is a playground for the kids to play in while you look for the cache. There are no designated parking bays but you can park on roads either side of the park.

THE CACHE

The cache is, black with bit's of white and the dimensions are 11cm x 9cm x 5cm. It has room for a log, pencil and small items. There is a certificate and some mentos for first to find. I hope I can get some small items into the cache soon. The area of the cache is shaded by trees and is fully accessible to wheelchairs. The cache is very easy and good for first time geocachers or testing the GPS. If you find the cache please be careful opening the bag containing the contents. Please replace it exactly the same as you found it with white dots on the container facing to the ground so no water can get in. Please be careful of plants and animals while looking for the cache.

Good Luck & Have Fun!
