Mt Bobbara is the prominent hill in this area, and is recognisable from a distance due to its steep profile.
The mountain has long been a communications site, and in recent years a secondary RADAR has also been installed.
The cache is on a quiet dirt road that skirts the mountain. There are good views back to the south. Parking is best near the gate at the highest part of the road, just north of and across the road from the cache.
