Geocache Description:

Back Where It All Began - 2000 Finds

Welcome to my 45th cache hide...
Well, i placed this cache after grabbing a nearby FTF in this area. It brought back memories of my very first cache find - Just off the track 3. Also, as i had just clocked up 2000 finds, inside my goal time of 2 years, i thought what better way to celebrate than to place a cache.

This is a lovely area. It is part of the Barooga State Park. Camping is allowed. Due to all the rain, the area is very very green. 2 years ago, it was a dust bowl. I have uploaded an image of the condition of the track at the time of placing the cache. If you have a 4WD you can drive through it, i did. Or you can walk through to the cache, it is not too far.

I also found this huge cut down tree and stump from logging days past. Nice specimen.

The container is a larger Sistema snap lock type hidden in the usual Aussie caching manner in the bush.

That's about it folks, hope you have a bit of fun in the area. As always in the Australian bush, LOOK OUT FOR SNAKES AND SPIDERS. Kids can do this cache, it is a very easy find, but with parental supervision. I did not have toys at the time to put in the cache, but i will go back and restock it soon.
