A slightly testing cache to get to but well worth the effort!
To get to this cache you will need to be capable of walking approx four and a half kilometres each way from the parking co-ords. The walk is along a gravel road, (bitumen for a short distance at the start), and is undulating though mostly uphill to the cache.
There is an alternative route, starting from my place, but it involves crossing private land and although the distance is much less, the gradient is considerably more. I would be happy to accompany anyone wishing to walk in this way if I’m available. I’ve been walking up here lately simply for exercise and to enjoy the fantastic views.

Mount Glenrowan is reputed to be a place where Dan Morgan and at different times, the Kelly gang, camped and used as a lookout to avoid the pursuing police.
While I have read differing accounts on the subject I doubt anyone really knows what might or might not have occurred on this hill in the past but one thing I do know is that the views from the top here are simply stunning and well worth the walk involved to get here.
