Geocache Description:

WILL PERFORM MAINTENANCE SOON Down in Karaka Bay there is a huge Pohutukawa tree. And caves....

On the path down to Karaka Bay, right at the end, there is a huge Pohutukawa tree. Really fun for kids to climb on. Be warned: The tree is good for kids but you can easily fall. The cache is a purple box with a logbook, pencil and some little trinkets for trade. GPS reception is not very good at GZ. You have to park on Peacock Street and walk down to the bottom of the hill. Warning - it can be dangerous near the GZ. Supervise your kids. FTF Goes to Funkymunkyzone. Congrats!
