On a lakeside walk amongst Kowhai trees.
The Cache is a 200ml Systema container painted black.
The area can be muggle intensive at certain times of the year, Running, biking, walking, dog and parachuting muggles can all sneak up on one when one least expects it.
When the Kowhai are flowering, the Tuis invade the area in droves. A hard hat and ear muffs could be advisable at this time.
The shortest track is not the easiest.
We suggest that you park at the end of Mahuta Rd at the waypoint listed.
