A micro at Orewa Beach. Stop, Have a breather and take in the view!
Orewa Beach is a beautiful stretch of white sand. Sometimes the sea murmurs, and sometimes it roars. You see kids building sandcastles as high as themselves, and a lone fisherman dreaming of Marlin. Walk up to the lookout above the beach in the morning (where there may be another cache perhaps...) and see the sunlight break over the waves and cliffs.
The Beach extends along the length of the town, providing a broad sandy promenade at low tide. Extensive grassy reserves and a children's playground border the beach.
I stopped here during an extended walk for a breather... hence the name. Don't forget to admire the view!
