Kerrybrent Saint He Aint – Waiting at Rainbow
Bridge
We have placed this cache in memory of our
beautiful Border Collie ‘Jed’. He would have loved caching so much
had we known about it when he was with us. He would have been a
total asset to the team as he would have found the caches no
problem – especially if they had a tennis ball in them. He could
find a tennis ball anywhere, he would actually steal them at every
opportunity.
So all contents are doggy based. It is full of things that Saint
Jed would have loved and approved of. He didn’t suit his show name
of Saint He Aint, as he was the true gentleman of dogs, a real
Saint. |

Both of these photos were taken in the South Island of New
Zealand. Jed toured around in a camper van with us loving every
minute of it and being the centre of attention at this monument, as
all the tourists there wanted him in their photo of the monument
being a collie.
The Collie Dog Monument overlooks Lake Tekapo. Sculpted by a local
resident, Mrs Innes Elliott, the model was sent to England for
casting in brass and erected and funded by Mackenzie country
runholders as a tribute to all working dogs, whose ability as
high-country sheep dogs was recognised as indispensable.
Till we meet again at Rainbow Bridge Jed, miss you so
much! |
HONESTY: Please log your honest feelings about our caches. Swaps
good/bad/indifferent. Location silly/great/nice/pathetic. Without
everyone's comments we cannot learn what everyone would like to see
in a hide. Plus don't forget if you really like it please recommend
it.
Original Contents: Throw rope tennis ball, tug-o-war tennis ball,
doggy do do bag dispenser, nail clippers, chewing ring, doggy
toothbrush set (yes Jed always brushed his teeth), puppy stickers,
gone to the dogs geopins and a throw toy.
There is a F2F Certificate along with an FTF price of a 2009 Puppy
Calender.
Keep smelling out those caches.
