The Spokesperson
Ladies and
Gentlemen,
On behalf of our esteemed sponsors and in
conjunction with the GPS constellation of satellites,
it is with great pleasure that I announce
the establishment of a
geocache in Hawthorne Park.
A place with a long and varied sporting
history.
I am sure those who seek this cache will no doubt
appreciate this aspect
as they follow the
pathway around the facilities here.
So whether you travel by foot, cycle, pogo stick,
pram or paw I wish you good health and cheer in your
quest.
Be sure to sign the log book when you find the
cache and make a swap if you wish.
With the formalities out of the way, I can
now inform you that to
find the cache you will need to find the answers to the following
questions and exercise the grey matter a bit as well.
A = The Australian titles were held here in 1957,
63, 69 and 75. How many yards in a circuit ?
B = Many a Panther’s player has been sent here
after upsetting the
coach. How many holes
in the sit up bench ?
C = Many attempts at a 360 on the swings have been
made here. How many vertical posts on the picnic shelter at the
playground ? PS: they don't all touch the ground.
D = Behinds kicked are recorded here. How many
rungs on the scoreboard ladder ?
E = Who said footballers were not that bright! How
many light towers shine onto the main oval ?
F = Lots of dribbling here by future NBL
players.
How many keys on the court.
Cache is hidden at S27 27.UVW E153

Where :-
UVW = A + ( B * C ) – ( D * E * F
)
XYZ = A + B + ( C * D * E ) + F
Happy hunting !
