The cache is located along the Footsteps trail which circles Lake Guy.
The track itself is not suitable for strollers as has many steps and narrow dirt paths. The entire walk takes about an hour starting from the picnic area at the lakes edge. The track winds is way through the dark dam wall, through beautiful manna gum forest, over bubling creeks and raging rivers and through the new AGL Southern Hydro Bogong Power Development where there is a viewing platform and information station (please keep to the signed pedestrian access track). The water in the creek near the cache is a delicious treat straight from the mountains.For the more adventurous types you may like to hire a canoe from the shop and paddle across the dam!!! Elevation of the cache is 670m.The cache is a small plastic honey container good for small swaps. It contains: a logbook, pencil, an 'invisibles' character, a key ring, and a spinning top.
