Located in the quaint little town of Crockett, a hunt for this cache will lead you to the peaceful Rithet Park.
Although there are a couple of caches farther up the Carquinez Strait, I think this is the first in the community of Crockett, California.
In the midst of the hustle and bustle of some fairly major industry along the shoreline, the town of Crockett seems to have preserved its small town appeal.
Located just across the street from a huge C&H Sugar facility, Rithet Park, established in 1912, is a great place to have a picnic lunch or just relax.
The cache is a 4"x6" Tupperware-style container loaded with the usual goodies. Stay on the paths, no deforestation or bushwhacking is required -- in fact, this one should be wheelchair accessible.
