Posted coordinates are just behind the building which used to be Lili Cinema in Ramat Gan. Now it stands deserted inside, with only street shops at the front, and cellular antennas on the roof.
Final location is elsewhere, but is also near a past cinema, just a little south of it.
Back in the days before cable TV, satellite, internet and streaming, people went to the movies all the time. Ramat Gan and Givatatyim were filled with many neighborhood cinemas, showing both local and foreign movies, mainly American.
Among them were Orde'a, Oasis, Armon, Lili, Hadar, Noga, Shavit, Rama, Kesem, Galor, Orli and others.
Once the mall complex theaters were opened, the inner city places could not compete any longer and were all closed. Some of the buildings are still standing, others were demolished in favor of towers.
