Kitamoto Nature Observation Park is a nature park utilizing the Arakawa riverbed. The park is 32.9ha large. The park is a habitat for foxes and raccoons. Please seek a cache while enjoying a nature observation.
There is a free parking for visitors. And there are bus services form JR Kitamoto station to the park.
· Take a Kawagoe Kanko bus for “Ishitokabazakura” or “Kitasato Medical Center Hospital” from the West Exit of JR Kitamoto Station, get off at “Shizen Kansatsu Koen Mae” bus stop and a 2 minute walk.
Saitama Nature Study Center is located inside Kitamoto Nature Observation Park. Teaching staffs in the Center answer visitors’ question about the nature, help visitors’ nature study and explain exhibits.

北本自然観察公園は、荒川河川敷の自然を生かした公園です。広さは、32.9hあります。園内には、キツネやタヌキが生息しています。自然観察を楽しみながら、キャッシュを探索してください。
車の方は、無料駐車場を使用してください。公共交通を利用の方は、北本駅からバスが出ていますので、それを利用してください。
JR北本駅西口から、川越観光バス「北里研究所メディカルセンター病院行」または「石戸蒲ザクラ入口行」に乗り、「自然観察公園前」下車、徒歩２分。
自然観察センターは、北本自然公園内にあり、自然学習指導員がいて、訪問者の自然に関する質問や自然学習に関する相談に応じたり、展示解説をしてくれます。

月曜日(ただし月曜日が祝祭日の場合はのぞく)
休日の翌日(ただし土、日、祝祭日の場合はのぞく)
＊ 12月29日〜1月3日までは、9:00〜16:00
自然公園ですので、ハチやヘビがいますので、注意してください。夏場は、蚊が多くいますので、注意してください。
週末には、マグルが大勢いますので、マグルに注意してキャッシュを探してください。
