It may take some time hiking to get there but this is worth the hike.
After hiking around Kodiak, we found this beautiful trail and decided it needed a cache. You will enjoy a nice hike in the woods and gorgeous scenery with tons of local birds. Elvis and I saw a bunch of eagles and seagulls and local birds. There are some cliffs and nice rock formations around too. Bring the camera. Park at N 57.47.249, W 152.23.697.
This is not recommended for handicapped cachers since you have to hike through the woods, climb up wooden stairs and walk over rock beaches. The location of this cache should be obvious as you approach it. If you look around you will find a large metal container (ammo box) hidden somewhere on the location. My intention for this cache is to be Kodiak's first Travel Bug hotel. I have placed 2 bugs and a Geocoin in there to get things started. Please continue this wish. There is also a Where’s George dollar bill hidden in the cache and a bunch of other toys and items. Here is a list:
