A magical place close to a popular Superstitions Trail
About 3 miles from the trailhead on an official trail, somewhat rocky. Ascent is gentle, about 500 ft.
Look for a regular ammo-box, about 30 ft off trail. You can't see it from the trail, but even if you
could, you couldn't walk straight to it. Inside, a few trinkets, one is quite original. Enjoy the hike,
the views are great, and there are lots of wildflowers. Kid friendly, if they are up to a 6 mile hike,
but watch out for cactus prickles.
