John and I were out exploring. John couldn't believe how low the water levels were in the Lahontan Reservoir. We climbed up here for a better view. We were so sad to see a limping wild horse amongst the cows grazing on the empty reservoir, but there was nothing we could do.
Please post pictures if you come when there is more water in the reservoir.
Cache is an ammo can with swag and FTF $. You should be able to park about .15 from it on Lahontan Dam Road (as it's called by our mapping software..it may be called Lahontan State Rec Road on some ) It's a fun ride out here..the road is dirt but a 2WD should be ok with high clearance as you get close.
