Oldlegworkers: Sutton Bridge Nene Estuary West Cache #’s 1, 2, and 3 Final
Following recent logs we have today visited Sutton Bridge. 2 of this 3-Cache Series have now ‘gone missing’, and a considerable amount of work is taking place in the area of the River Bank, making replacement almost impossible. We have therefore decided to Archive this whole Series. Contained in the missing # 3 Cache were 2 trackables, and the relevant Owners of the TB and Geocoin have been advised of their loss. Geocache Description:

A walk along the Sea Wall Public FP - car park nearby - NB: the Co-ords. given are for the Car Park. To find the Cache you will need to visit Sutton Bridge Nene Estuary West Wander #'s 1 and 2, and note the Eastings and Northings co-ords. on the laminated cards.

Continuing the exploration of the Nene Estuary at Sutton Bridge, this time from the West Bank.
As you start the walk you can see Lighthouses on both banks of the Estuary.
The one you can see on the opposite (East ) Bank was made famous by Sir Peter Scott’s occupation, as he lived there from 1933-39.
The Cache itself is located close to the path. It is a Small Rectangular plastic box, and when set it contained a FTF Certificate, log book and pencil, activated TB and small items to swap.
This is a relatively quiet area, although we did encounter some Birdwatchers and Walkers.
