Geocache Description:

ILF : Viva 10Years!

ILF DOGA Museum is a museum where the work of the children's　book　illustrator and Takei Takeo to whom active local gave birth from Taishou era to the Showa era is stored.
Takei Takeo's picture can be seen in the Okaya city here and there.

Takei Takeo was born into rich landowner's house in 1894.
Takei Takeo actually invented word "DOGA(mean Picture for children)" usually used now.
At that time, it is a painter who sublimes the one that was only the cut-in illustration for children of the fairy tale etc. to the art.

What is "ILF"?
It is a meaning "It is new" because this is coinage of Takei, and it is opposite to "FLI -> Furui(Old)".

Cache was set up in the vicinity of ILF DOUGA Museum.
It is a small plastic case.

How about the child picture appreciation at the same time as cache hunting?

イルフ童画館は、大正から昭和にかけて活躍した地元が生んだ童画家、武井武雄の作品を収蔵している美術館です。
岡谷市内には、武井武雄の絵をあちこちで見ることができます。

武井武雄は、１８９４年に地主の家に生まれました。
今は普通に使われる「童画」という言葉は実は武井武雄が生み出しました。
当時は童話などの子供向けの挿絵に過ぎなかったものを芸術に昇華させた画家です。
「イルフ」とはなんでしょう？
これも武井の造語で、「古い」の逆、新しいという意味です。

キャッシュは、イルフ童画館付近に設置しました。
小さなプラスチックケースです。
