24 April 2021, Saturday, 10:30 - 11:30
Hosted by: IgnatiusReilly and the GGA
When: April 24th from 10:30 am to 11:30 pm
What: April is CITO month and the GGA is hosting several events around the state. This event will be at the largest of Doraville's 7 parks, Honeysuckle Park.
Event: Meet us in the parking area in front of Forest Fleming Arena to begin our volunteer trash pick up program. We will provide trash bags and bottled water; please bring your own gloves, bug spray, sun screen, etc. Face masks are recommended but not mandated in Georgia but they may also help you avoid breathing in excessive pollen, annoying outdoor mold and the occasional small bug.
We look forward to meeting new friends and seeing old ones as well. Please (!!!) leave a "Will Attend" log so we can get a good head count for the event.
NOTE - Should the trash pick up cause empty, rumbling bellies, adjacent Buford Highway offers literally any cuisine you may desire mere moments away from this park.
Bonuses: Earn the CITO 2021 Season 1 souvenir by attending a CITO event through August 31st. Also, attendance at any GGA event automatically makes you a member of the GGA, which is the oldest active geocaching organization in the world celebrating 20 years this year!
