Join the GGA for our July event at Georgia's newest state park, Don Carter State Park. We will congregate at Shelter #4 where we will enjoy a picnic lunch, geocaching trivia, and a raffle with some great prizes.
Schedule of events:
11:00-11:30: Geocaching Bingo, meet and greet
11:30-noon: Picnic Lunch (Hot dogs, cole slaw, chips)
Noon-12:30: Geocaching Trivia
12:30-1:00: Raffle, GGA Challenge winners, Announcements
1:00: Group Photo
Don Carter State Park is a great destination with a beach on Lake Lanier, hiking trails, kayak rentals, and of course, geocaches! For more information on Don Carter, check out the GA State Parks website.
NOTE: The event is free, but you must either have a GA State Parks parking pass or pay $5 for a one-day parking pass. A great option for parking passes and additional benefits is to become a member of Friends of Georgia State Parks.
